Yeah, planning is very important, in every program that we do in life. From planning in home office build to meal plan, everything need a plan. Of course profit-blogging also need planning, we will talk about it in this post.
As a starting point, planning will give the most effect to the whole program. So just leave everything behind, take your paper and start write your plan.
What is Planning?
Wikipedia said that planning is s both the organizational process of creating and maintaining a plan; and the psychological process of thinking about the activities required to create a desired goal on some scale. As such, it is a fundamental property of intelligent behavior. This thought process is essential to the creation and refinement of a plan, or integration of it with other plans, that is, it combines forecasting of developments with the preparation of scenarios of how to react to them.
Planning Elements
Planning must be able to answer six questions which is called as the elements of planning:
1. What is the action?
2. Why the action must be done?
3. Where the action is done?
4. When the actions are done?
5. Who will perform the action?
6. How to perform the action?
Good Plan
A good plan should include attributes as follows:
1. Use words that simple and clear in meaning, easily understood.
2. Flexible, a plan must be able to adjust with the actual situation.
3. Stability, not every time you need to change so the plan must be maintained stability.
4. The time-factor and factors of production balanced with the need.
5. Includes all the necessary action
Let’s Start Planning
Enough with the theory, now we will make our program plans, these are the check point you should do;
- Answer question number 1 to 5 from the planning elements above, that’s all of we need to start our program, we should know every aspect of our program, so we will go on the right track. For my 50 days program, you can find all of the answer in the explanation before. For number 6 the next check point will answer it all.
- Write every steps that we need to reach the goal, consider the 5 good plan principles before. For profit blogging, it’s the example,
- Make your schedule, for my 50 days program, I have to make every steps can be accomplished in only 50 days. Consider the 5 good plan principles before too.
- After you make your schedule, now broke it down to daily tasks, choose the most important task and the less important, then you can start your day by focus finishing that important task, just choose 3 to 5 task a day. After you finished your most important maybe you start doing the less important.
- Evaluate your work everyday, yeah it means you should do planning everyday too, the best time is at the end of your day, do a simple evaluation and plan a simple daily task list for tomorrow.
That’s all of my simple planning guide, maybe you can check timberry blog for more planning refferrence, he writes a lot of great resource in planning.
